UFC Set to Make Belgium Debut
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will hold its first-ever event in Belgium on March 11, 2023, at the Palais 12 in Brussels.
UFC President Dana White made the announcement on social media, saying, "We're excited to finally bring the UFC to Belgium. The fans there are some of the most passionate in the world, and we know they're going to create an incredible atmosphere for our fighters."
The event, dubbed Fight Night Brussels, will feature a main event between two top contenders in the lightweight division. The full fight card has yet to be announced.
The UFC has been rapidly expanding its global reach in recent years, holding events in new markets such as France, China, and South Korea. The addition of Belgium to the UFC's calendar of events further solidifies the promotion's status as a truly global sports organization.
