Iranian Explosive-Laden Drone Used

The attack was carried out by an Iranian explosive-laden drone, according to a statement from the Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz. The drone struck the Pacific Zircon, a Liberian-flagged oil tanker that was carrying crude oil from the United Arab Emirates to Singapore.

Israel Blames Iran

Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid swiftly blamed Iran for the attack, calling it a "clear act of terrorism." He said that the attack was aimed at disrupting international shipping and harming Israel's economy.
